"The first one that arrived worked the first two times I put it on. There was no light or sound the third time I wanted to use it. I had only used it a few hours by then, so called Primrose as the product was meant to give 500 hours cover. Primrose sent a replacement, which has worked fine since I received it. I have used it about 6 hours & hope this replacement goes the full 500 hours."

"This device does is not "ultrasonic", everyone from the youngest child to the most elderly pensioner can hear it. It is in fact ridiculously loud/annoying on the highest setting and can be clearly heard (by humans) up to 5 metres away. Nor does it repel mosquitos - on one occasion I held it 5cm from a mosquito and it neither stopped the mosquito biting or feeding on me. We bought 3 of these and they were all the same. Totally useless. Best buy a chemical repellent because these don't work."
