"The LED light kit was messy to fit as the wiring could not be shortened and had to be tied in loops to the back of the torsion bar. The instructions were to fit the receiver inside the house, which would have meant going upstairs to a bedroom to operate it, or outside in a waterproof box, which would have stopped the IR sensor from working. I had to insulate the input cable and the connector for the LEDs and fit it under the torsion bar. Even so, I have to be very careful to aim the zapper accurately to operate it. The white LEDs are very blue and not bright enough to light up a dinner party. I am not sure whether I will ever feel the need for other or changing colours."
