"Works well, helps to use some form of forced blown air to get fire going well and quickly e.g. bellows or in my case a compressor, I use charcoal brickets. Once the ssteel trim gets how enough it dulls which is nice as it looks (for me) to bright. Also the paint work turns more matt once hot enough which again is nice. You do of course have the initial smell as the paint burns off. I speed'd up the "burning in" process by using forced blown air which really gets the sparks flying!
